The Dean Eleanor Credenza
The Dean Eleanor Credenza
The Dean Eleanor Credenza measures 40” W x 26” H x 16” D.
The Dean Eleanor Credenza is rooted in my childhood. I used to go over to my Great Grandmother’s home in the early nineties and she would pick Louis Armstrong and other jazz compilations for me to put on the spinner. The year before I entered high school my first venture into my own personal collection occurred when I purchased Deep Purple’s Burn and Styx II. This would be the first twenty of thousands of dollars to be spent over the next two decades. This piece of finely crafted furniture is a namesake of the woman who kickstarted my love for vinyl albums, the woman we affectionately called Grammie. The geometric base heralds mid-century styling while the Fumed Oak, horizontal/vertical lines, and a sturdy frame construction are mainstays of the Craftsman era from which those Louis albums hailed. Let a “Dean Eleanor” be a home for the record collection you share with the next few generations.
