The Forte was designed as a multi-use vinyl storage piece. The idea was to create something that had a strong presence, the perfect dimensions to house a slice of your record collection, and the ability to be utilized as either a coffee table, a bench, or a low-rise credenza. The way that the singular metal base is divided while remaining unified by the distinctive character of the solid slab wrapping around it brings to mind melodies playing at the same time to create a visual polyphony.
