Inspired by Torii gates, which stand as entrances to Shinto temples and symbolize the transition from the mundane to the sacred, The Sacrament Bench was built with a similar intent. It was designed to remind us that something as simple as a bench can draw your attention to the sacred beauty in nature, while reminding us that we don’t have to step into a church, shrine, temple, et cetera to engage in spirituality, but can do so during an activity as mundane as sitting upon a bench.

This particular edition of the Sacrament Bench was crafted in a wood that can be used indoor or outdoor and will patina nicely overtime.
